This collection is more melodic than DREAD OF BEING, but no less despairing. It's just not as abrasive - and that's not a bad thing. I'd love to have this playing on Halloween night. While you may start sitting in the dark, by the end you'll definitely want the lights back on!
Favorite track: V. The Darkness of Tomorrow.
Misanthropic Meditations Volume I: The Earth's Sleeping Darkness/Tenebris Dormientes in Terrae.
MMVI was written as a means of solace.
Musically influenced by industrial, dark ambient, ambient black metal, funeral doom, dungeon synth, drone, and noise. Somber melodies, broken reverb, cold digital atmosphere mixed with distorted analog menace.
This album requires patience and volume for maximum results.
